First is my Xmas present to my uncle, a 11x14 acrylic painting of one of the War of the Worlds Saucers. I'm still pretty new to real paint, but I think it came out well ( though my scanner can not get the colors in as vibrant as I like them and I cut off about half of the burning building )
And here is a giant 2'x3' graphite drawing i did entitled The Elf Woods of Kaelnosti which is an illustration from an area in my fantasy writing.
or the super large version here: http://www.aradani.com/new%20design/images/elvenwoods.jpg
I had to take a picture of this one and theres alot more detail than shown, but I wont have a hi-res scan until a month from now
So critique and tell me what you think!! _________________ Mike Bielaczyc - aradani.com |

looks cool....why do scanners tend to de-saturate/mute the colors. Someone please explain this to me. _________________ SolarFlux

Almost everything messes color up. Thats why paintings are 300x better in real life. and then the whole headache of trying to get digital images to print out the same color as they are on the monitor. Alot has to do with mechanical stuff in the components i think plus the whole difference between additive and subtractive color. _________________ Mike Bielaczyc - aradani.com |

yeah probably something to do with computer colors.....
I know printing never looks as good because of the difference between rgb and cmyk(add/sub)....
*I think some of it might have to do with the scanner itself(cheap)* _________________ SolarFlux
