Hi, I'm rather new here but I tried searching around these forums (and google for similar styles as well), but I haven't been able to find quite what I'm looking for. Anyway, I was wondering if anyone knew of a tutorial that explained through text and pictures the basic steps, from beginning to end, used to create the brushwork and general coloring style as seen in Dhabih's "Pilot" painting. Any and all help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Charlie Brown

P.S. If it matters, I'm using Photoshop 6.0 and a Wacom tablet.

Umm, thanks...I guess. I was looking more for help on the brushwork, but any help is nice.

Looks advanced rather than basic but it's the best way to approach a painting like that I guess...

If it's the rough look you like about the "Pilot" painting just use high opacity and let the brushstrokes show (the brushes shouldn't be too soft)
