Okay I just bought my Network adaptor for my PS2 and was doing some looking around on it when I found this:
Linux Kit for PS2
So I I figured I'd check it out
PlayStation 2 with Linux
Not yet released in USA only Japan, but for a few $100 dollars can be bought on EBay - where you can buy just about everything.
Anyone try this yet or have any thought on it? |

You quite obviously have ZERO clue about Linux, gigatron. |

Isn't the fun part figuring out how to do it on your own?
Might be good for a home brew render farm. |

Check out this site jabberwocky. There's usually some cool shit on there.
You can pretty much turn you ps/2 into a computer for a $100 bucks. Surf on your tv. I think that's pretty cool.
And knowing the Linux community, they'll come up with some funky uses for it. |

Hah.. earlier i thought it was a cool idea (unusual is sometimes cool) but now i think it's not worth it. I don't have PS2 in the first place, and unless you don't have a computer it's a lame thing to do anyway (if you have tons of money you can buy anything though).
