Adobe Turns 20
Aramo | 10:35 | Industry Buzz
Adobe Systems, the company behind the popular graphic editing program Adobe Photoshop that is used throughout the gaming industry today celebrates its twentieth anniversary. Company founders John Warnock, Charles Geschke and CEO Bruce Chizen participate today in a panel discussion hosted by the Churchill Club of Silicon Valley to discuss "the company's humble beginnings, its impact on society and Adobe's plans for leveraging the Adobe Acrobat and PDF franchise to fuel its next phase of expansion." More information on that can be found on the Churchill Club's Website. |

No, Photoshop isn't older than you, unless you're only 11; Photoshop didn't become a commercial product until '90. Adobe didn't create it, though I'm sure they'd like people to think that they did. What became Photoshop was developed at ILM. Even Illustrator's older, by a few years. |
