Its been a while since I have been here now, but I hope we still can post a finished website, and not just individual art works.
I have just launched my online portfolio. Its build entierly in flash (dont diss it until you tried it ). All the content is loaded in via XML files. Everything from text on buttons to the images. Making the site very managable.
So, have a look and see what you think:

Under the personal gallery 2D and 3D you have some artwork you guys here might like to have a look at.
hmm..think I will try a poll for the hell of it..never tried it before!! *s*

OK my first reaction is: why is your text in Latin??? 'quisque nunquam semper something something'...
And I couldn't get to any pictures. Am I doing something wrong? Anyways, I like your animations for what that's worth

That was strange!!...uhm..can you do a screengrab of what you see...cause I am not sure where you see this....and it would help me to identify the error.

nice site, except on your personal gallery, I got stuck on the bottom scrollbar No matter where I clicked, it assumed I was still trying to scroll, and when I finally managed to let go it just locked up. I had to close the browser window.
man, i dunno whats up, but whatever it is you should fix it.
but really, a very cool website. _________________ aliensamurai.deviantart.com |

Very nice, but the scrollbars gave me some trouble. As long as the mouse button was depressed, the bar would move up. I had to fight against it to move down. Other than that it's not bad. |

If I asked "why are you making your site with Flash", how would you answer? If there isn't a damned good reason, then please, for the love of everything that is good and holy, don't make me use a Flash site. Flash sites break the basic navigation that's build into the browser. Flash sites are slow to navigate. Flash sites force the designer's stupid interface onto me, the user.
I had to go through ten million menus to get to any content. I clicked "Personal", waited five seconds (on a cable modem), and closed the window. I guess there's nothing there.
My advice: If everything you have fits on one page, then put it on one page. Don't make me hunt for your stuff. Look at Craig's site (goodbrush.com). The content speaks for itself, and it's a click away. Keep it simple. |

OK that's really wierd - I tried it again and it was fine.
So what was that Latin text?... What if it was some sort of demonic possession, like in The Exorcist? I'm scared!! |
