Before you say anything yes I did misspell BLUR bye typing bluer....

I wanted to ask you your personal preference when it comes to bluring the edges of shading on a drawing of a face. I like to lighten up the line with a Gaussian Blur, but do you think that is the most effective? How do you lighten the transition from shaded to non-shaded?

You mean you use the blur tool for smoothing out transitions as well?
Eep.
I always just fiddle with large brush sizes...
Erm.
Then again, I just like to work by hand

Yeah gaussian blur is the one i use most for general blurring. If i wanna get more specific on areas to blur then i'll use the blur tool instead.
