Hey guys, just practising my character rendering, trying to get a smoother style in addition my my more abstract one. Its sorta successful. Critiques, comments, overpaints, whatever always warmly welcomed!
Updated Pic:
I had a swamp BG in there, but decided that it didn't fit, so I'll be using it in another pic.
PS: I nearly forgot! The figure itself is somewhat based on a comic line drawing by a fella I might be doing some work with(Chru!). Its dissimilar enough that it can stand on its own, but I wanted to mention that, since he's such a cool guy. _________________ -Anthony

you have won my heart its simply amazing and the colors are lovely.
altough here left leg under here hair doest align with the part above the leg. her hair seems to be a bit to massive.
but man those crits dont ruin this piece its wonderful and the wings are nicely don too.

Wow, you are the texture and digital Master, good work. :)
Maybe her left leg is a bit long, not sure but the leg looks a bit out of place as merlyns said. and the knee-cap in the front pushes too much to the right from our point of view, nevertheless its a very cool piece. :)

I think her leg is fine. It's the crotch that seems a bit weird to me. Not that I'm staring!... It seems like it should be just a tad lower. _________________ Tim Davis

I agree with Tim. The pubic area seems too high. Otherwise, a very nice piece. _________________ brian.prince|light.comp.paint |

Hey guys, thanks for the great comments. Lemme jump right in.
merlyns - I'm very happy you enjoyed it. I'm figuring on adding some more streaks to give it a more hairlike appearance.
Matthew - Please don't call the Master of anything; not even the master of evil Darth. :] Glad ya liked it.
TimDavis - Thanks much! I think I fixed it now.
balistic - Agreed. And thanks
Dr.Bang - haha, have fun _________________ -Anthony

Hey guys, do you like this version better, or the original? It sorta spruces up the hair, but makes things kinda...chirpy or something, I dunno.
-edit- screw that version, it sucked
For the eyes, I left them dark because I like how engaging they are - your eyes are drawn to them because of the contrast(and without something like that no one would be lookin' above the neck ), but then because of the way they're drawn, she's almost pushing you to look down from her eyes to the naughty bits. God I listened to Jason Manley too much! (I know, impossible you say!)
Az - I agree to an extent. I wonder what the solution is??? I really wanna know _________________ -Anthony

ignore these insolent fools and their bickering about crotches and long sexy legs! GROING SMASH on them!
Long legs rock - and simply be glad she has a pubic area and isn't a Eunich. :D

Haha, I like this Giant Hamster character. Thanks guys - I moved the head up a bit, to give her more of a neck, made her hair more..hairlike, and reduced its mass quite a bit. I also fixed her nose a little, and fixed her hand that looked like a lump of flesh before. Now I'm pretty happy with it. In case you're wondering, this was the original background, which I'm going to use elsewhere;

Hehheh, this is a fun thread. I definitely like the new version better.
Say Anthony, did you used to be on the animaster list back in the day? _________________ brian.prince|light.comp.paint |
