Ok.. maybe Im being completely blind right now but Im trying to lock down the desktop icons so that they cannot be moved around. I dont want to use Auto-Arrange because they can still be moved around. Anybody know the setting Im looking for? |

Right click on desktop
Properties--->display properties
click the DESKTOP tab
click CUSTOMIZE DESKTOP
click WEB tab
check LOCK DESKTOP ITEMS
OK your way out of both menus.  |

don't bother with a task bar either everything i need comes from a right click
