I just wanted to say hello, And I was wondering if this forum is the place for a complete 3dsmax NooB. I've been a pretty good UnrealTournament mapper and want to excide my skillz using 3dsMax. Meaning that I want to get into modeling, skinning (I'm not such a bad adobe artist either) and animating.

Also check out CGTalk. They've got a very big 3D userbase (the biggest, I think).

yeah - stick around. It's always nice to see some good 3d stuff for a change, and besides you might learn a few things here regarding conceptualization - lots of talented concept artists here.
