what's the difference between the academic version of photoshop, and the retail version? and what about photoshop 5 limited edition? what does all this mean? please answer quick, i need to know |

I got the academic version of photoshop, it's the exact same thing as the retail except you get a student discount on it.
I don't know anything about the limited edition...

Try to get the student discount version of Photoshop 4.0 if you want to save a few bucks. Or, get version 5 right off (don't go for the upgrade... more expensive buying PS 4 & the upgrade than buying 5). If your machine is a hulking Pentium III 500+ with 128 megs of RAM or more, then go for 5.0. It has multiple undos which will glady eat up your precious RAM.
PhotoShop LE is just the "dumbed-down" versions that are bundled with scanners and printers. It has less filters and colormetric adjusters. But it still has layers :P Layers good. |
