well.. this might be a bit off topic, but some of you may know that (i think microsoft has the file??) back then i used to find a fole (.exe in origin) that can smooth up the windows font.
for example

(no, i'm not doing advertising for this guy, just seem to be a good example)
take a look at the top right text, where it says 'grace advertising', and if you look carefully, the font should be smooth and don't have pixels sticking out here and there.
do you guys know what i mean now?
