Hey BoomStick I like you pics a lot...hehe, it has just been so many B/w pics lately that I've had a hard hard time answering all
What I like the most on your pics is the shapes and lines....looks like your a bit of a fan of Egon Schiele, which I love.
Maybe it could be cool if you tried to exploit more of black as shadow only, and remove the outlines totally...
Anyway nice pics Do you want more replies to your thread, copy a girls's face 100% Sorry, bad humour.

Great pic Boomstick! I like that lose sketchy style of shading you have. Keep 'em coming.

Cool stuff Boomstick! But it's true that there has been so much b&w stuff recently that it's hard to keep up with it all... That's unfortunate because your work deserves to be seen
Like Joachim, I was also thinking of German expressionists when seeing this. I like this style, it feels more like traditional illustration and printmaking than the comic-styled approach some others are taking (which looks great too, but it's also nice to see something else for a change).

Very cool Boomstick! This kinda reminds me more of sketchier Mike Mignola style.. Very stylised. I think it coulda had more solid black shadows tho.. maybe that woulda gave it a better balance but I guess thats just a dif style. |
