As much as it pains me to agree with Daily Radar, Shenmue really is an amazing game. It doesn't blind you with its brilliance all at once, but rather it builds slowly . . . after a few sessions, you can start to see where that quarter-of-a-billion dollar budget went.
Its like Panzer Dragoon Saga times ten.
I also just picked up Street Fighter 3: Third Strike, and its got me feeling like I'm 12 again. Great animation, and the best music out of any of the Capcom fighters. The only downside is that you /need/ a proper six-button-with-stick controller to have any chance of beating it. The new green one from TopMax works well.
