i just started working on a painting of a cybernetic-type demon sitting in a big skull-infested throne...this is all i have of the demon so far though...based on how it looks, do you think the rest of the painting will be good? most of the painting i see here use big long strokes or thicker lines, i like to work extremely zoomed in with thin intricate type lines, and then zoom out when done...does it work out well? o well.. too much text for a small image.
btw, its drawn with a mouse =[
feedback?

I like the skull, but it looks a little too flat to be something thats alive. Maybe it could be a part of the chair?
You might want to open up another window in photoshop to just sketch out how u want the image to look using large swatches of color and shape. You could also use it as a base for light and shadow. This should help u with the scale of ur piece and general shape of the character. You then go in and do ur intricate work on the char.
