Got a new sketchbook, and what better way to open it than to take Spoogey's advice and do a page of silhouette figures. I limited myself to 15 seconds for each. It immediately became apparent that I need to go back and do more live figure drawing-it's been too long since I drew from life, and it shows in many of these. I recommend this exercise for anyone who wants to cross-check where they are-it isolates many problems. Thanks very much Craig.

PS: I should note that I started with just a little blob of ink, and just worked it into whatever. I didn't have anything set in mind when starting each one. The very horid faces on there were just ink splots that grew out of their diapers and took off in their own direction.
