Hey folks! I'm trying to decide the final look of a character im developing. He's Ted The whatever, a little green dude with no appendages and a taste for booze. I'd love it if you guys (and girls) could take a look.

Now, I know the lighting and shadows are off (way off in some cases) but I just threw those in for contrast.
What I want to know is, do you have any suggestions to give him more personality?

hahahahaha ... a funky little whatever. The first thing that springs to mind is where is his arms but thinking about it, it is probably just better as a blob (without arms).

As for personality, try doing something with the lines outlining the eyes, make them thicker in some places or something. The other thing which sprung to mind to help out express would be some floating eyebrows above his head.

I took your suggestion and andded eyebrows, I also fixed the third X on the bottle.


Comments, suggestions to add personality?
He's supposed to be excitable and very strange. Hyperactive if you will.
He's the sidekick to another character, Match Man. I've got to figure some way of making him able to be blown apart and reassemble, since Match Man has a short temper and a large gun.
I figure he'll be be similar in composition to jello, so he can kinda ooze back together.

Good idea, I'll add slime markes for scenes where he jumps high, or lands after a fall, etc.
