Hey i finished my barbarian/warrior character I posted a while back now I'm making an arena for the full animation. The arena's kinda like those that are found in those medievil times places where you eat and stuff while they put on a show. Well now my only predicament is making a crowd around the arena. If anyone's seen how they do this in movies or whatever i'd like to know because it'd be of great help to me! =) Thanks! |

Coconutmonkey,
This is what I'd do; there may be a better way. Make some characters you want to be in the crowd. Are they going to be animated? If so, animate them with different cycles and render them out with a flat camera angle. Then get grids and use those images to be an animated texture for those grids. Try to make the placement and movement of the crowd to be as random as possible. And voila! Hope that helps. Good luck!
