hi there. well, here's my last one. i know there are some mistakes. her shoulder is weird, and so on... that was another attempt to do some kind of realistic stuff, that's the reason why it's a pretty simple picture, with a basic lighting... anyway, just tell me your feelings about it. thank you very much. peace.

Hmmm, flip the picture 90degrees clockwise, it would look better that way, and you would be able to pick out more mistakes

Realistic, Dr. Bang? I think not. Realism may not have been achieved, but it is an interesting picture nonetheless.
The colors certainly are very primary.

She looks like she's lying there half dead. Then again maybe thats just because I just got back from that crappy slasher flick urban legends so everything sort of looks half dead, but really isnt, ya know? Um, right. Realy cool style, id add a bit more to her arm, it looks like its sliced in half or something. Ok, no more slasher flicks before bedtime.

dr.bang: well, at least that was an attempt, but it's not very very realistic.
dryfire: thanks for the tip.
a.buttle: yeah right. i must admit that is less realistic than dr.bang said but, y'know, i'm not
the most appropriate guy when
when it comes to do realistic stuff, and that's not my
main aim, but, i think i painted some kind of interesting picture, which is i guess the more
important, eh?
icannon: thank you mate.
capnpyro: ahaha, no more horror flicks before going to bed, ok? just kidding, well, i will see
what i can do with her arm. her shoulder should be fixed too a bit. anyway thx for the tip
PEACE.

Very nice colors and really clean!
I love the face and hair, but the arm is a bit weird. Good job though!

Very nice indeed. I think you have got realism in terms of trying to capture a mood, as for photo realism, I don't think so (but this is a good thing). The thing that I love about this image is that it has it's own distinctive style and works really well. Say on the right side of her face, there is next to no detail due to the way the light is shinning but with the style in the hair and neck, looks really good.
Well done on the hair! The nose is also nice with very well defined colours.
Yeah, the arm is a little off, probably because the black shadow comes too high. Not 100% convinced on the shirt and lack of detail. It is too contrasting against the arm. I think it just needs a small amount of shadowing and you can keep the rest of it that clean white.

hi,
wakestarr: thank you, and yeah, i know the arm is kinda weird. i gotta fix it one day.
matt elder: thanks for your comment. there's obviously a difference between realism and photorealism,
and i guess that you've understood which kind of realism i'm aiming for. again the arm is a bit fucked.
and you're right about the t-shirt contrat again the arm, it really need a bit a shadowing, i'll fix that as soon as
i can. thanks for the tips, i forgot that precious shadowing.
silber: hehe, your name makes me think of my last silver bombing, that was tight molotow+montana cans rock.
yeah, the hair is kinda weird, but i like it that way. hair is so boring and diffucult to paint
gordillo: just wanted to thank you for your nice comment.
peace |
