Hey du guys ever find that some timesyou can be like on fire and draw very acurately and create some really cool looking stuff... and then some days you just feel totally off?
Well if I concetrate rather hard I can usually pump out something quite respectable but somedays it flows more than others...
can any of you guys relate to this?
I think I heard Fred talking about warmup exersizes?
whats all that about?
Anyway
food for thought |

What you're saying is something I can relate too. Some days the only thing I can do is scribble and I feel like a worthless loser. On other days, I can draw something that really looks nice and I think "wow, I really have a chance, just need more practice".
I don't know whether there is some secret behind all of this. I know some people just sketch and sketch just to get the bad ideas out of their system so they can move unto new work. Perhaps that's some secret tip. I dunno |

Yup me too. Sometimes it all hapens by itself. others I think I should just give up. Changing materials seems to help me a bit. A lot of it has to do with confidence I think. if you start off bad then you can have a bad day. it just gets in your head. I think a warm up exersise where you draw something you know you can draw and have draw before get's past that. I would postulate that it has somehting to do with left/right brain stuff. |
