I take it that I'm looking at someone with a gun and a helmet. If so, make sure the hand is in proportion and that the arm actually flows properly

hand is way too small.. the arm is a bit to small as well.. I think your canvas size isn't giving you enough room to work with.. looks crowded, like your trying to cram too much anatomy into the pic. Try pulling the viewer back a bit (zooming out). I think that'll make it a bit easier for you to get the anatomy right. |

Yoshi-That entire hand is too small. I was wondering, in your initial post you said this was not human. It looks all too human to me, what is it if it is not human?
Anyway, if it is leaning toward human, I adjusted your image to give the hand the proper proportions. YOu were making the hand far too small for the arm. The hand is coming out at us, so it should actually get slightly bigger with the foreshortening. This is a dynamic way to pose the figure, if you can remember that the hand is as big as the face plane of the head, then you shouldn't have too much trouble keeping the proportions correct...
Good luck.. |

Tetanus, thanks.
Fred, I didn't intend to draw human at first, don't pay to much attention to what i'm writing, hehe. It's more clear to see what's wrong with the proportions now. Thanks for taking the time to do the corrections. |
