Are you going for a particular style or maybe some kind of painterly effect?
If you're going for realism, one thing that immediately jumps out is her eye. It's way too long.
However the pose is dynamic it breathes life into the character making a beginner's effort look good.
unless you're not a beginner ha ha. |

Hey there, not bad for your first time..
The lighting (assuming it's coming from the top right) seems right to me, would be more defined with a background though.
Also, if you are going for realism, fix the eye and the skintones, if you need help on skintones do a search for skin tones in this forum I'm sure you'll find more than enough information.

oh I should mentioned that:
-it will be a semi-realistic painting
-noticed the problem about her eye will fix that
-about the flesh tone...
for the reason I will spray this pic
(and I already have the cans)
I can't choose from a wide range of colors
so I can't go for a flesh tone now
but I will take more care about that
in my next pic and when I understand
exactly what Jason Manley said about this
topic(value/temperature...)
