This was for a homework assignment in my life drawing class due today. We were to do a figure in an environment. So, it left it pretty open for whatever. Let me know what you think, crits, etc.
If it's taking too long to load look here: http://www.geocities.com/originalagent44/artwork/wings3.jpg

Neat drawing! I love the atmosphere you've created with your shading.
I'm not expert at figure drawing but I'm looking at the arm she's leaning on and it seems a bit skinny. You might wanna beef that up a tad. Same thing with her thigh, the upper part of her thigh seems pretty flat and almost "stick" like. You also might consider giving her some booty if ya know what I mean? Women gotta have those hips! Hmm... I guess unless she's supposed to be younger. But judging from her face and expression I didn't think that was the case.
Looks great! I really like those "wing" things; and the cracks in the stone. |

That's so nice! Is it E.V.E. Protomecha? I really dig the construction details like the rebar coming out of the concrete. My only major crit is that the perspective is a little ambiguous, but that's hard to pull off if your building is leaning, or somehow off of square.
You're really good!

Nice drawing agent44. I especially like the interesting shapes in the background.
Some comments: i also agree that her left arm is a big skinny and short.
Her head seems a bit detached from her body. I think the main reason is because her shoulders are not following her head motion. Her head is almost rotated 90 degrees relative to her shoulders....looks almost perpendicular. This looks un-natural...tho...she is a robot thingin...=)
great work nevertheless....what medium is that? Looks like charcoal..

ok..nice job.
the head structure and form is odd...
when you compose your pictures...give the eye a place to rest...hit the contrasting shapes, values, and edges harder it that area...then push down some of the other areas a bit so the eye can focus from one particular area of the composition and still partially feel secondary and tertiary focal areas in other parts of the picture.

I like this. For some strange reason it reminds me of Battle Angel Alita.
I like the use of the dark and light areas as it makes the environment looks forboding and tense which is backed up by the bullet holes in the structure behind her. The wings are nice with the bulky bolts holding them together.
My only problem is with her left arm in that it looks a little short and maybe a bit slender compared with the rest of her figure. |

Nice nice! I really like the rock, and the craks in it. It really evokes a sweet a atmosphere. Something that bothers me is her hand as it seems extrememly small, but that could be your style |
