Seeing so many impressives works on this site done with those electronic tablets is really inspiring. Here is my attempt at something similar. You'll have to excuse the rough-ness of the picture...I don't have one of those tablet thingys so I had to do mine with a mouse. Hope you like it.
Any constructive criticism would be wonderful. |

Wow that's awesome!
Explain to me how you did that job only using a mouse? Would be interesting for me, as I'm also wacom-less ... |

Cool pic. Lighting and colors are nice, maybe you could add little sharper highlights atleast to the metallic parts (helmet, shoulder plates). His arm seems to be little short also. Anyway, I like it. Until you get yourself that wacom, do you have some more nondigital pics you could scan and show us? Or just keep the mouse rollin'.

Thank you for your replies!
Solitare: My approach to painting with a mouse isn't much different from how others approach it with a tablet. You simply block in the base colors, then render them. Good mouse control helps a lot too.
Rhomb: Thanks for your comments. I'll try to post some traditional works for you to see. Thanks for your interest. |
