I decided to take a break from 3D modeling and do a Photoshop painting. I used a little mirror for reference which really didn't show my whole face very well. It could use more work, but I've already wasted enough time

Yeah, I've always had problems with drawing ears.

Hey Sedone I just did the same thing last night, with a dingy little mirror...
but mine was done in black/white as opposed to colour. I was trying to get a really clean look going, but i dunno if it's worked out so far...i'm still working on it, but dammit
this mirror is tiny!
Really nice work though!
I really like your use of shading and lighting...

No shit! You look like me to, hehe.
It looks very good! Slightly out of proportions in certain areas, but nothing big. Cool to see you back!

No way micke, your eyes range from evil to super-evil in your pics. :P
Man Sedone, that is a very good pic! I really like the use fo color all over (especially in the background).
The only thing that doesn't match the rest of the face is the nose.. it points a few degrees to your left versus the rest of the face (lips, cheeks, ears, eyes)... unless you have a broken nose. :P |

Thanks for the comments, everyone. The more I look at it, the more mistakes I see. The painting became too tight and cautious because I knew the proportions were off, but I was itching to get on with the painting part of it. I could tell I was rusty from not drawing for a while.
Funny pic, Micke
