This is actually my first try at drawing animes and I don't know what to say I never seen much exept half of Ninja Scroll... Do you think Adobe Illustrator would be better for this kind of drawing?
By the way his name is Satara... I though if this is a japanese anime kind of stuff he should have a japanese name... ps... he's a blind swordsman.

If you have learned to draw realistically or not even really learned to draw people anime is a really hard thing to draw. If you are serious about learning how to draw in this somewhat bizarre style visit and download the tutorials at http://www.jdillon.net.
You will probably like her stuff.
P.S. I am an experienced Aikidoka (Japanese martial art involving sword work) so expect some crit when you post your next swordsman!: )

thanx for the reply... The site you gave is awsome... there's some nice work in there. The advice was good I'll be making a picture of his full body soon.
